Club meetings are held on the 1st Monday of each month (except December and January) at the Poultry Pavilion, Dubbo Showground, at 7.00PM. Supper is served after the meeting and every second month a bench night is generally conducted. This may involve hands-on discussions about a particular featured breed or cover a range of topical subjects such as show preparation, bird heath and breeding. The club also holds regular working bees at the Poultry Pavilion as well as occasional yard visits and social days. Dates of these events are detailed in the club calendar.
The 2010 Dubbo Ag Show will be held on Saturday 8th May. Schedules are available from the Secretary, Dubbo Show Society.
2010 Agricultural Show Schedule
The 2010 Dubbo Poultry Club Show will be held on Saturday 11th July. This year the show’s feature breed is the Indian Game, judged by well known Indian Game stalwart Steve Dubber. The show is being supported by the Indian Game Club of Australia with sashes and certificates. The Dubbo Poultry Club also has an existing perpetual trophy for the Best Indian Game of Show.
